On Thursday evenings, families across Madinah gather for a ritual older than the city itself: chips of aged oud placed over glowing charcoal, their smoke curling through the rooms of the home, settling into fabric, hair, and memory. Our bakhoor is blended from Hijazi oud, Indian sandalwood, Omani frankincense and Taif rose — resting for eighteen months before it reaches you. في ليالي الخميس، تجتمع عوائل المدينة على طقسٍ أقدم من المدينة نفسها: قطعٌ من العود المعتَّق على الجمر، يتسلّل دخانها في أرجاء البيت، ويستقرّ في الثياب والشَعر والذاكرة. بخورنا مزيجٌ من عود الحجاز، وصندل الهند، ولبان ظفار، وورد الطائف — يُعتَّق ثمانية عشر شهراً قبل أن يصل إليك.
